18th April 2017

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back after the Easter break.

Term Dates – We have updated the website and sent emails for our term events which are happening between now and half term. For those of you who do not have access to the internet we have paper copies for you to view in the office. Occasionally we have last minute additions as we sometimes deal with outside agencies who don’t always confirm dates until just before they are due to come. If this happens we will update the website and amend the paper copies in the office.

School Uniform – We have noticed that an increasing number of children are not coming to school in uniform; this is a reminder of what they should be wearing for school.

  • Black, navy or grey trousers (no jeans) Leggings can be worn if a skirt is worn over the top
  • Black, navy or grey shorts (classic school uniform shorts only, not the combat/cargo style) these must not be shortened or embellished in any way.
  • Knee length black, navy or grey skirts or pinafore dresses
  • Knee length check or striped school summer dresses, any colour
  • White shirt/ polo shirt
  • Black, grey, navy or white socks/tights
  • School logo sweatshirt or cardigan
  • Sensible shoes (no trainers, platforms, heels, or flip-flops)

And for PE:

  • Navy shorts
  • Colour team t shirt
  • Plimsolls or trainers

Children who come to school in inappropriate clothing will be sent home to change.

Arrival at School – Please can we remind you that children should not be on school property before 8:20am. If they arrive before that time we do not have first aid trained staff available if they were to have an accident.

Notifying us of Absence – When your child is ill and you leave a message to notify us, would you please give details of their illness as we have to record the absence accurately, to mark it as illness is not enough.

Containers for Cooking – If your child has forgotten their container for cooking, the kitchen have now managed to source containers which can be purchased for 50p.

Uniform and Dinner Money – When buying uniform or dinners for your child would you please try to bring small amounts of money for lower priced items as we sometimes struggle to provide change.

For our half term break we finish on Friday 26th May and return on Monday 5th June. We also have one day off for May Day bank holiday on 1st May.
